Purpose:
 Coordinate all Remote sensing activities across the Venture, liaising with agents in order to maximize the value from this data & technology
 Manage centralized, standardized and sustainable remote sensing & metocean/ice data across the venture (raw and derived data)
 To help ensure integrity, confidentiality and security of the RS technical data


Qualifications & Experience:
The job holder must have:
• Master degree in Remote Sensing, and preferably professional qualification
• 10 years of defining, implementing and managing remote sensing data & projects
• In depth knowledge of the acquisition and application/analysis of metocean & ice data in the EP industry
• Proven experience of project management & project delivery within sensitive and multi-cultural international working environments
• International experience within the energy industry
• Experience of standards usage and applications (ISO, OGP, UKOOA, etc…)
• Membership or proven participation in Remote sensing industry body


Required Competencies:
The job holder must have proven:
• History of authority for remote sensing within an international organization
• High profile and wide ranging networks with people and organizations
• Detailed knowledge of Geodesy and Geo Information Science, and high end ICT
• Knowledge and awareness of relevant current, emerging and next generation technologies
• Business analyst, communication and project management skills
